Job summary

TridentCare is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to drive complex technology and business transformation initiatives across the organization. You will report to the VP of IT PMO & Transformation and oversee cross-functional teams to deliver value on strategic programs.

In a healthcare services environment, you will establish governance, manage budgets and risks, and mentor junior project managers to strengthen PMO practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• PMP or equivalent project management certification strongly preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience managing complex IT and business projects in a structured PMO environment; healthcare industry experience a plus.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong financial and vendor management skills.
• Advanced skills in project management tools (e.g., ServiceNow PPM, MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira).
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate with executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of complex IT and business transformation projects.
• Support the development and rollout of PMO standards, governance frameworks, and best practices across the enterprise.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocations; proactively manage changes and communicate impacts.
• Facilitate regular status updates, steering committee meetings, and executive presentations.
• Identify project risks, dependencies, and issues; implement effective mitigation and resolution strategies.
• Ensure adherence to change management processes and compliance with PMO methodologies and quality standards.
• Contribute to portfolio-level reporting, benefits tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior project managers and foster a culture of accountability and transparency within the PMO.

Role and Responsibilities

Position Summary:

TheSenior IT Project Managerplays a critical role in driving successful delivery of technology and business transformation initiatives at TridentCare.
