Job summary

Gravity IT Resources is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead end-to-end IT projects across ERP, Workday, and Procore, in Fort Lauderdale. The role follows PMI standards and oversees budgets while building detailed project plans.

Operate within a waterfall/iterative hybrid approach, contribute to PMO process improvements, and use AI tools to support administrative work with review before distribution.

Qualifications

• PMP certification required.
• 7+ years IT project management experience on software/app implementations.
• Experience with WBS, RACI, dependency management, and building project plans.
• Experience with project portfolio management tool; Clarity experience is a plus.
• Able to operate with minimal guidance once ramped up.
• Collaborative, people-first communication style.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT projects from initiation through close, following PMI standards including budget ownership.
• Build and maintain project plans, work breakdown structures, and RACI matrices.
• Coordinate dependencies and cross-functional coordination.
• Operate within a waterfall/iterative hybrid methodology (not Agile/Scrum).
• Contribute to growing the PMO by standardizing templates and improving processes.
• Participate in internal project management community activities, training, and team meetings.
• Use AI tools thoughtfully to support administrative work, with review before distribution.

Role Overview:
Join a growing PMO supporting application implementation and enhancement projects. Manage projects end-to-end, from planning through delivery, across initiatives like ERP (Oracle Fusion), Workday, and Procore. Follow PMI standards, overseeing budgets and building detailed project plans. Operate within a waterfall/iterative hybrid methodology. Contribute to improving internal project standards and processes. Use AI tools thoughtfully to support administrative work.

Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned IT projects from initiation through close, following PMI standards including budget ownership
• Build and maintain project plans, work breakdown structures, and RACI matrices

• Operate within a waterfall/iterative hybrid methodology (not Agile/Scrum)

Required Qualifications:

• PMP certification (required)
• 7+ years of IT project management experience — specifically managing software/application implementation or enhancement projects (infrastructure project management experience counts; general/business-side project management does not)
• Strong knowledge of work breakdown structures, RACI, dependency management, and building project plans from scratch
• Experience with a project portfolio management tool (Clarity experience a plus, not required)
• Comfortable operating with minimal guidance once ramped up
• A collaborative, people-first communication style — valuing how you treat people as much as delivering on deadlines
