Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Project Management.
• 3+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of PMBOK guidelines as outlined in the PMBOK.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work nights or weekends on an as needed basis.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.
• DoW 8140 Compliant Certification for Work Role 802 at Intermediate Level.
• Nice If You Have: Experience with waterfall, agile, and hybrid project methodologies.
• Ability to use Microsoft VISIO and Microsoft Project software.
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Planning, leading, and managing personnel responsible for the organization's portfolio of projects and maintaining efficiency of PM activities.
• Developing and executing project objectives with the customer on needs and goals, project proposals, and execution status.
• Determining project responsibilities by identifying phases and assigning personnel and reviewing contractor bids.
• Determining project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards, and preparing cost estimates.
• Confirming product performance by designing and conducting tests.
• Maintaining project schedules by studying plans, calculating time requirements, and sequencing elements.
• Controlling project plans by reviewing designs, schedule changes, and actions.
• Preparing project status reports by collecting and summarizing information and trends.
• Providing technical and operational leadership within program guidelines.
