Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an IT Specialist Senior – Networking to support a long-term enterprise IT and cybersecurity program based in Crane, IN. The role focuses on Tier 2/3 network support, troubleshooting, and optimization across enterprise infrastructure with strong Cisco networking emphasis.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of IT experience, active Secret Clearance, CCNA, and hands-on Cisco router/switch expertise. Onsite in Crane, IN with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT experience; 10+ years preferred.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• CCNA certification required; CCNP preferred.
• Experience with enterprise routing and switching and Cisco networking technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2/3 support for enterprise network infrastructure.
• Install, configure, integrate, and troubleshoot IT and networking systems.
• Troubleshoot and optimize Cisco routers, switches, and related network equipment.
• Support enterprise routing and switching infrastructure.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
• Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, VPN, NAT, and related networking technologies.
• Support network upgrades, installations, and infrastructure modernization.
• Perform Tier 3 troubleshooting, optimization, and performance management.
• Support IPv6, EIGRP, BGP, VLAN, VPN, and NAT environments.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to ensure secure network operations.
• Integrate enterprise, regional, and local IT systems while maintaining network availability.
• Diagnose and resolve complex network connectivity and performance issues.
• Support network recovery efforts following outages or service disruptions.
• Document network configurations, troubleshooting procedures, system changes, and technical solutions.
• Collaborate with network engineers, system administrators, cybersecurity teams, and other technical stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior IT and network personnel.
