Job summary

JMA is seeking a Senior IT Network Engineer to own the enterprise network across the company’s U.S. sites, including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and a multi-vendor firewall estate. The role includes ensuring compliance with CMMC, NIST 800-171 and SOC 2, and documenting controls for audits.

On-site in Syracuse, NY, with occasional travel. You will manage and optimize networking across data centers, manufacturing floors, and labs, working with Fortinet FortiGate, Cisco Meraki, and VMware/network storage

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise networking experience in multi-site environments.
• Expert-level routing & switching for secure, compliant networks.
• SD-WAN & IPsec tunnels configuration experience.
• Hands-on Cisco Meraki (MX/MS/MR) in multi-site dashboards.
• Fortinet FortiGate firewalls & FortiOS with policy design & IPsec/SD-WAN.
• Familiarity with CMMC, NIST 800-171, SOC 2 compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls).
• Configure routing protocols for reliable, secure network performance.
• Implement and manage SD-WAN, IPsec tunnels, network segmentation for compliance.
• Ensure adherence to CMMC, NIST 800-171, SOC 2; document compliance evidence.
• Collaborate with IT teams; maintain documentation for audits.
