Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior IT Integration Engineer – Business Systems / Quote-to-Cash to lead the systems architecture and hands-on delivery across the full Quote-to-Cash lifecycle. You will own data flows, resource ownership, and integration patterns across HubSpot CRM, NetSuite ERP, Ironclad, Zip, and Asana.

The role requires hands-on configuration, data pipelines, troubleshooting, and close collaboration with Sales, Finance, Legal, Revenue Accounting, and IT stakeholders.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Quote-to-Cash architecture across CRM, ERP, CLM and procurement tools
• Define target-state system landscape, data models for accounts, quotes, contracts, orders, invoices, payments
• Design scalable processes for opportunity management, quoting, contracting, order management, invoicing, billing, revenue reporting
• Own and optimize QTC configuration within HubSpot: catalogs, quotes, workflows, approvals
• Design integrations between HubSpot, NetSuite, Ironclad, Zip, Asana, Snowflake, and other core systems
• Build data pipelines landing historicized data in Snowflake for analytics and ML use cases
• Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, Revenue Accounting, Data, and IT to gather requirements and lead design reviews
• Embed security, privacy, approvals, segregation of duties, audit trails into designs
• Produce and maintain architecture diagrams, data-flow docs, and runbooks

Job description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior IT Integration Engineer – Business Systems / Quote-to-Cash to serve as the systems architect and hands-on technical lead for the company’s end-to-end Quote-to-Cash environment.

This person will own the design and evolution of Quote-to-Cash processes across HubSpot CRM, NetSuite ERP, Ironclad, Zip, and Asana. This includes defining how data, workflows, approvals, and ownership move across the full lifecycle, from opportunity and quoting through contracting, ordering, invoicing, billing, revenue recognition, and reporting.

The ideal candidate will bring the hands-on integration and business systems capabilities required for the previous version of this position, along with more senior experience architecting complete Quote-to-Cash solutions. This person should be able to establish the target-state architecture, define systems of record, make build-versus-buy recommendations, and clearly explain technical trade-offs to Sales, Finance, Legal, Revenue Accounting, and other business stakeholders. Ideally, you come from a startup tech environment!

This is not solely an integration-development role. The engineer must understand how Quote-to-Cash processes should be designed from end to end, including pricing, approvals, contracts, billing, renewals, amendments, and revenue recognition. They will also remain hands-on with configuration, integrations, data pipelines, troubleshooting, documentation, and implementation.

NON-NEGOTIABLE EXPERIENCE:

• Direct, hands-on experience with all five of the following platforms:
• HubSpot CRM
• NetSuite ERP
• Ironclad for contract lifecycle management
• Zip for procurement
• Senior-level experience architecting end-to-end Quote-to-Cash or Order-to-Cash processes
• Experience owning the complete design across quoting, contracting, order management, invoicing, billing, revenue recognition, and reporting
• Ability to define target-state architecture, data flows, system ownership, integration patterns, and systems of record
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining integrations between CRM, ERP, contract management, procurement, and financial systems
• Strong understanding of Sales and revenue workflows, including pricing and packaging, deal desk, quote approvals, renewals, and amendments

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 6+ years of experience in integration engineering, business systems engineering, enterprise applications, or a related technical discipline
• Proven experience serving as a systems architect, technical lead, or senior engineer for a scalable Quote-to-Cash environment
• Experience supporting Sales organizations and related workflows, including:
• Product catalogs and product books
• Quote templates and quoting workflows
• Pricing and packaging
• Approval rules and permissions
• Contracts and order forms
• Renewals and amendments
• Working knowledge of subscription and recurring-revenue concepts, including proration, co-terming, credits, cancellations, upgrades, downgrades, multi-currency, and multi-entity scenarios
• Experience designing how non-standard commercial terms and approvals flow between quotes, order forms, and contracts
• Strong knowledge of integration architecture, SOA principles, RESTful APIs, and enterprise integration best practices
• Hands-on experience implementing REST and SOAP web services, including authentication, data mapping, error handling, and system monitoring
• Experience with XML and JSON, including schema design, transformation, validation, parsing, XSD, and JSON Schema
• Experience using enterprise integration platforms such as Tray.io, MuleSoft, Workato, Boomi, or equivalent
• Experience integrating cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake or BigQuery
• Experience designing historicized data pipelines and working with change data capture concepts
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions
• Experience evaluating existing tools and recommending configuration, customization, consolidation, replacement, or retirement based on cost, risk, effort, and business value
• Strong business analysis skills and an understanding of Finance, revenue recognition, and operational workflows
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain architecture decisions and technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong documentation discipline, including system diagrams, data-flow diagrams, architecture records, handoff documentation, and integration runbooks

DAY-TO-DAY:

• Own the end-to-end Quote-to-Cash architecture across HubSpot, Ironclad, NetSuite, Zip, Asana, and related enterprise applications
• Define the target-state system landscape, systems of record, and data models for accounts, quotes, contracts, orders, invoices, payments, and revenue schedules
• Design scalable processes covering opportunity management, quoting, contracting, order management, invoicing, billing, revenue recognition, and reporting
• Own and optimize the Quote-to-Cash configuration within HubSpot, including product catalogs, quote templates, workflows, approval rules, and permissions
• Design how order forms, license agreements, non-standard terms, and commercial approvals move between HubSpot and Ironclad
• Architect workflows for new business, renewals, amendments, upgrades, downgrades, credits, cancellations, and other commercial events
• Assess the impact of new products, pricing models, packaging, entities, and acquisitions on the Quote-to-Cash ecosystem
• Architect, build, and maintain integrations across HubSpot, NetSuite, Ironclad, Zip, Asana, Snowflake, and other core systems
• Design integrations with reliable record linking to provide visibility from initial pipeline activity through recognized revenue
• Build automated reconciliation workflows across CRM, contract management, billing, and financial systems
• Resolve cross-system discrepancies involving dates, currencies, values, customer records, contracts, invoices, and revenue data
• Design resilient financial integrations using idempotent processing, monitoring, alerting, error handling, and recovery workflows
• Build data pipelines that land clean, historicized data in Snowflake for analytics, forecasting, and ML use cases
• Partner with Data teams to create clean, deduplicated, analysis-ready transformation layers and datasets
• Build self-service reporting infrastructure, including dashboards, automated reports, and Connected Sheets
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Revenue Accounting, Data, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and lead design reviews
• Embed security, privacy, approvals, segregation of duties, audit trails, and change-management controls into system designs
• Produce and maintain architecture diagrams, data-flow documentation, decision records, integration patterns, and handoff materials
• Review the current technology stack and recommend whether to configure, extend, consolidate, replace, or retire systems
• Establish reusable standards for integration development, testing, monitoring, documentation, and long-term maintainability
