Job summary

TheCorporate is seeking an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure & Desktop Engineering Consultant to support a large enterprise environment in New York City. The role is hybrid and duration is 1 year.

You will lead back-end infrastructure, Windows servers, and desktop environments, while coordinating patching, security, and reporting tasks across on-prem and cloud platforms. Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of Microsoft infrastructure delivery, strong AD/SCCM/WSUS/PowerShell skills, and experience

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience designing and delivering Microsoft infrastructure solutions.
• Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, SCCM, WSUS, PowerShell, and Group Policy.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 migrations, MDT, OSD, application packaging, and compatibility assessment.
• Knowledge of Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop, Nerdio, Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Manage back-end infrastructure, Windows servers, and desktop environments.
• Administer Active Directory, SCCM, WSUS, Group Policy, and OSD.
• Support Azure, AWS, VMware, and Hyper-V environments.
• Perform server and desktop patching, testing, staging, and production deployments.

• Create and administer SCCM dashboards using Power BI.
• Support antivirus, endpoint encryption, asset inventory, and licensing activities.
• Manage third-party patching and provide deployment/status reporting.
• Develop business process flows, test plans, test cases, action-item logs, and status reports.
