Onto Innovation in Milpitas, CA seeks a Sr. Systems & Infrastructure Engineer to join a security-first IT team supporting on-premises, hybrid cloud, and modern cloud-managed environments. The role spans traditional enterprise infrastructure, CloudOps, and endpoint management with Intune and Windows Autopilot.

The ideal candidate brings deep technical depth, an Agile mindset, and a passion for continuous improvement in both operations and security posture.

Qualificações

• 7+ years of enterprise systems administration or engineering experience.
• Expertise with VMware vSphere/ESXi and virtual infrastructure management.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and cloud-managed endpoint operations.
• Strong background in Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms, governance, networking, and IaC fundamentals.
• Experience with enterprise storage and DR automation platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Lead VMware vSphere/ESXi architecture, cluster operations, lifecycle management, and performance tuning.
• Administer and optimize Azure and/or AWS cloud environments with cost management and IaC pipelines.
• Administer Microsoft 365 tenant services, Intune, and Windows Autopilot in a hybrid environment.
• Manage backup and DR tooling (Rubrik/Zerto) and implement recovery runbooks.
• Advance security posture through vulnerability management, CIS benchmarks, and compliance evidence.
