Job summary

Trovata is seeking an experienced IT Security professional to monitor security alerts, coordinate vulnerability management, and maintain the corporate hardware fleet across AWS/cloud environments. The role emphasizes cross-team collaboration, incident response, and security process improvements.

Remote-first work with flexible policies and a strong focus on security awareness; compensation ranges from $140,000 to $170,000 annually, with comprehensive benefits and equity opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT/security.
• 5+ years combined IT operations and information security experience.
• Hands-on with cloud software environments and platform/workstation management tooling.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, triage, and respond to security alerts and incidents across endpoints, cloud, and email security tooling.
• Support vulnerability management including scanning, prioritization, remediation tracking, and cross-team coordination.
• Create and maintain processes to increase system efficiency and reduce manual work, including onboarding/offboarding.
• Manage corporate hardware fleet, OS, software, MDM, and information security tools.
• Provide IT and InfoSec support for the organization.
• Liaise with vendors and IT staff for issue resolution.
• Analyze business requirements with stakeholders to develop internal IT solutions.
• Support security/tech roadmap projects and process improvements.
• Promote security awareness through regular training and communication.
