Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking an IT Consultant for the IT Laboratory Portfolio to participate in the software development lifecycle and deliver Laboratory IT solutions. You will collaborate with IT Consultants and Engineers on design, implementation, and testing, supporting Cerner Millennium, EPIC Beaker, Wellsky Transfusion, and other systems.

The role emphasizes requirements gathering, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership by influence across enterprise processes.

Qualifications

• Two years of software or system testing experience across IT environments.
• One year software or application development experience.
• Eight years IT consulting, business analysis, or related field with degree or equivalent work.

Responsibilities

• Lead or oversee complex IT consulting projects, ensuring deadlines and policy adherence.
• Lead requirements elicitation and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Evaluate third-party vendors and support vendor management activities.
• Drive standardized tools, templates, and processes across the enterprise.
• Advise senior leaders on how requirements align with current systems and processes.
