Job description

What We Do

Network Right is on a mission to create a human-centric, innovative, next-generation world of IT. We are disrupting the IT service industry by offering custom solutions to each individual client. At Network Right, we’re bridging the gap between IT and People by offering unique support based on the needs of growing businesses, and making employee lives easier through technology.

Why Join

You’ll get exposure to a multitude of IT systems, build networks and connections, and test and implement the latest and greatest technology. You’ll also be involved in strategic tech stack and project planning. In addition, you’ll be part of a passionate team supporting businesses with offices all around the world. And of course, you’ll be helping companies of all sizes work more efficiently by solving real world IT problems with flexible solutions.

We’re an organization that really cares about its clients and its people, and we demonstrate this every day! We’re a close-knit team working together to build something exceptional/extraordinary. And of course, we’re all technology nerds who love interacting with people!

About the Role

The Senior IT Consultant is the technical backbone of our service delivery team. You are the person our technicians **escalate** to when things get hard, and you are the person our clients trust to run the room. You own accounts. You build things. You solve problems that others can't.

This is not a role for someone who maintains what is already there. We need someone who has rolled up their sleeves and built systems from the ground up, navigated environments that were a mess when they arrived, and left them significantly better.

You’ll work directly with our IT Manager and take ownership of a portfolio of client accounts, handling them at a high level while collaborating with our technicians on day-to-day execution. You will be the buffer that keeps the most complex work from flowing back up, and will help up-level the team around you.

  • Compensation: We offer a compensation range of $95,000-110,000 (+ annual bonus) for this role. Where you land depends on your experience with our preferred tech stacks and the tools you have deep working knowledge about (ie more than just administration).

  • Location: This position requires you to be onsite at our HQ or client offices in San Francisco. We are unable to offer relocation at this time.

  • Sponsorship: Network Right is not currently able to provide visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

What You Will Do
  • Own a portfolio of client accounts at a senior level, serving as the primary point of contact and running client syncs with confidence

  • Serve as the escalation point for our technicians on complex technical issues across MDM, identity, networking, and cloud platforms

  • Build and configure systems from scratch or lead significant infrastructure rebuilds, not just maintain what is already in place

  • Administer and optimize identity platforms, particularly Okta, including workflows and automations beyond basic user and group management

  • Lead MDM deployments and policy configuration across Jamf, Kandji, Intune, or similar, with the ability to build from the ground up

  • Manage both Mac and Windows environments comfortably, with deep expertise in at least one

  • Drive SaaS administration across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and the broader client stack

  • Develop onboarding, offboarding, and automation workflows that create real operational leverage

  • Support networking infrastructure, troubleshooting and standardization across client environments

  • Contribute to documentation, compliance readiness, and process building in a way that scales

What We Are Looking For
  • 4+ years of hands-on IT experience in a fast-paced, multi-client environment

  • You have built IAM workflows, configured automations, and done more than create users and groups

  • MDM experience where you were the person who built it, not just the person who inherited it

  • Deep working knowledge of either Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, with the ability to go well beyond basic administration

  • Strong Mac and Windows proficiency; Mac-only or Windows-only comfort will be a gap

  • Networking fundamentals solid enough to troubleshoot and configure in a wide range of environments

  • Experience running client-facing calls and communicating confidently with non-technical stakeholders

  • A genuine ownership mindset: you identify problems, you solve them, and you do not wait to be told what to do

  • Comfort with ambiguity and an ability to figure things out when documentation is incomplete or the answer is not obvious

Nice to Have, but don't let this stop you from applying!
  • Experience working at an MSP, start-up, or multi-client environment

  • Familiarity with Azure AD / Entra ID and conditional access policies

  • SOC2 or HIPAA compliance exposure

  • Experience managing or mentoring junior technicians

  • Certifications such as Network+, Security+, or platform-specific credentials

Benefits
  • Health Benefits

    • 100% covered health, dental and vision insurance for you, 50% for dependents
    • Paid Parental Leave
    • HSA/FSA eligibility
    • Access to a variety of mental health programs
  • Compensation, Rewards & Recognition

    • 401(k) + 4% company matching
    • Annual Bonus Program
  • PTO

    • Flexible Time Off
  • Certifications

    • Flexible certification and learning stipends and reimbursements
  • Culture

    • Biannual company retreats
  • Extras

    • Home internet and mobile reimbursement
    • Monthly meal stipend
    • Commuter benefits
