Job summary

MasTec, Inc. in Coral Gables, FL is seeking an experienced Senior IT Auditor to join its growing Internal Audit Department. The role focuses on IT audits and SOX 404 compliance, with responsibilities spanning documentation, testing and remediation of ITGCs and applications.

You will present findings to management, communicate complex issues clearly, and support business continuity planning. Travel ~15–20% across the United States is expected.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years IT compliance/controls or audit experience.
• CISA, CISSP, CIA preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Information Systems or related field.
• Travel ~15-20% (US).
• Experience with PowerBI or BI tools preferred.
• SOX 404 walkthrough and testing experience.
• Familiar with GAAP, IFRS, COSO and COBIT.

Responsibilities

• Conduct IT audits and reviews for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Prepare and present audit reports to Internal Audit and management.
• Explain complex IT issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Maintain internal control programs under SOX ITGC and application controls.
• Assist in risk identification, business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
• Use data analysis tools to automate audit testing and continuous auditing.
• Collaborate with management to prioritize information needs.
• Develop findings and recommendations for improvement.
