Arena Family of Companies in Colorado is seeking a Senior IT Auditor to lead SOX technology controls testing from planning through reporting. You will partner with IT and finance to assess risks, investigate control failures, and drive remediation.

The role values curiosity, thoroughness, clear communication, and the ability to explain IT controls to executives. ERP testing, general vs application controls knowledge, and travel flexibility are expected.

Qualifications

• A few years of IT audit experience with SOX work you have owned yourself.
• Experience testing large ERP systems: access, change management, setup.
• Able to distinguish general IT controls vs. application controls with examples.
• Solid grounding in information security fundamentals.
• Clear, confident communication with analysts to executives.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Run technology controls testing for SOX from planning to reporting.
• Walk processes with system owners and identify real control failures.
• Collaborate with IT and compliance on fixes and ensure fixes stick.
• Help decide where the audit team spends its time each year.
• Team with financial auditors and external firms on shared work.
• Serve as a go-to resource for IT teams on controls.
• Engage in special projects as they arise.
