Job summary

Rockland Trust is seeking an experienced Senior IT Audit Specialist to join our Internal Audit team. This role spans IT governance, cybersecurity, information security, and technology operations across our banking technology environment.

You will partner with management to conduct risk-based audits, assess controls, and contribute to the annual IT audit plan, ensuring regulatory compliance and effective technology resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in IT, CS, or related field.
• 7+ years of IT audit, information security, or risk management experience.
• Strong understanding of ITGCs, cybersecurity frameworks, cloud environments, and application controls.
• Experience auditing complex technology environments in regulated industries (banking/financial services).
• Professional certifications: CISA or CISSP (preferred: CIA/CISM/CRISC/AAIA).

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute risk-based audits covering IT governance, cybersecurity, information security, and technology operations.
• Partner with audit leads to execute ITGC testing.
• Plan, scope, and deliver audits per Internal Audit standards and regulatory expectations.
• Evaluate design/effectiveness of technology controls in critical processes and infrastructure.
• Identify control weaknesses and opportunities for process improvement.
• Prepare audit reports and executive summaries for senior management and Audit Committee.
