Job summary

Northwest Bank is seeking a Technical IT Audit Lead to perform specialized auditing tasks in bank technology operations. You will plan, test, report, and follow up on audit results with autonomy, focusing on cloud, cybersecurity, data governance, and related controls.

The role requires coordinating with audit teams, leading risk-based procedures, and communicating findings to management while ensuring regulatory compliance and quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, or IT.
• CISA, CISSP, CISM or other related certification preferred.
• 5-6 years IT Audit, Information Security, or Governance-Risk-Compliance experience.
• 6-8 years Financial Services/Banking experience preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory exam reports, compliance reports, and third-party risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT-related audits with audit teams.
• Plan risks, define scope, and develop risk-based procedures.
• Research regulations and interpret relevance to audit work.
• Consult with key personnel to assess control environments.
• Analyze data and draw logical conclusions from audits.
• Prepare audit documentation per IIA standards and department policies.
• Summarize findings to management and stakeholders.
• Lead meetings to communicate audit status and corrective actions.
