Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Analyst for IT Application Controls within the SOX Audit team. You will evaluate IT application controls, design and operate tests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen financial controls.

The role involves planning, testing, and reporting on control effectiveness, working with external auditors, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the enterprise. 40-hour workweek with regional travel and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years IT audit, automated controls assessment, risk assessment, or risk consulting experience.
• Willing to travel up to 10%.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, or Accounting or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Audit execution: assess IT application controls and security configurations across the enterprise.
• Perform data integrity and system interface reviews and test evidence with clear documentation.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulators as needed and document test workpapers.
• Develop test plans for IT-controlled environments including automated controls.
• Test information produced by the entity (IPE) and validate report logic and data integrity.
• Evaluate interfaces/integrations and data transfers for completeness and accuracy.
• Perform operating effectiveness testing with sampling, re-performance, and inquiries.
