Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Senior Information Systems Security Officer to lead RMF, ATO, and accreditation efforts for a federal modernization project. You will coordinate with engineering teams and ensure compliance across on-premise and cloud environments, applying Zero Trust and continuous monitoring principles.

Ideal candidates bring 18+ years in cybersecurity, RMF/XACTA expertise, and active TS/SCI with polygraph.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 18+ years in cybersecurity or related fields.
• Experience as ISSO/lead in federal systems.
• Proficiency with RMF, XACTA, ICD 503, NIST 800-53 and accreditation artifacts.
• Experience with IATT and ATO processes.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
• Current Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II/III.

Aufgaben

• Lead RMF activities and support certification, accreditation, IATT, and ATO efforts.
• Conduct security assessments and evaluate system compliance with federal requirements.
• Develop and maintain SSPs, POA&Ms, SAPs, and accreditation artifacts within XACTA.
• Implement, assess, and validate NIST 800-53 security controls.
• Coordinate with engineers, developers, DBAs, admins, and testers to ensure compliance.
• Support security assessment events, audits, and interactions with OA and SCA.
• Monitor security posture and recommend risk mitigation actions.
• Apply Zero Trust principles across enterprise and cloud environments.
• Conduct vulnerability analysis, remediation tracking, and continuous monitoring.
• Provide cybersecurity guidance to program stakeholders and technical teams.
