Job summary

IBM Consulting seeks an ISSO to plan, execute, and maintain RMF-based accreditation to achieve ATOs across DoD/IC environments. You will lead security posture, coordinate with architects, and drive compliance across cross-functional teams.

Requirements include RMF/ATO leadership, NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5 knowledge, Security+ certification, and TS/SCI CI Poly clearance on day one. Bachelor's degree preferred in a relevant field.

Qualifications

• Experience leading RMF Authorization to Operate (ATO) processes.
• Self-starter capable of leading high-priority, high-visibility tasks.
• Strong technical writing, communication, project management and problem-solving skills.
• Deep knowledge of NIST RMF, NIST SP 800-53 Rev.5, DoD & IC authorization processes.
• Security+ certification is required.
• Experience with risk management, security controls, vulnerability management, continuous monitoring, and POA&M management.
• Requires TS/SCI CI Poly clearance on day 1.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and maintain system accreditation activities to achieve and sustain ATO.
• Serve as primary security lead, ensure design meets security controls, coordinate across teams.
• Develop and manage security documentation; perform assessment activities; oversee remediation tracking.
