Job summary

Billingsley is seeking an Irrigation Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance, water management, and regulatory compliance of irrigation systems across the portfolio. The role supervises irrigation contractors, manages water-use programs, pump stations, and budgetary responsibilities, reporting to the Director of Landscape Management.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of irrigation experience, 3+ years in supervision, and working knowledge of smart controllers and water auditing.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of commercial irrigation experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with large-scale developments including pump stations and water distribution.
• Knowledge of smart controllers, flow monitoring, and water auditing.
• Ability to manage budgets, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee irrigation systems operation, maintenance, and water management across portfolio.
• Develop schedules, monitor water use, and file required reports with authorities.
• Supervise contractors, manage bids, and verify work against specs and budget.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, licensing, and safety requirements.
