Qualifications
- 8+ years of IP-related experience in patent portfolio development and analytics.
- Experience leading invention harvesting and licensing, litigation, or enforcement.
- Strong ability to conduct patentability, FTO, and landscape analyses.
- Experience managing outside counsel and coordinating IP activities.
Responsibilities
- Identify patentable innovations with engineering, R&D, and product teams.
- Lead creation, evaluation, and strategic growth of Kubota's patent portfolio.
- Conduct patentability, FTO, landscape, and competitive analyses to inform decisions.
- Track emerging technologies and competitor IP activity.
- Support invention disclosures, filing strategy, prosecution, docket oversight, and maintenance.
- Contribute to licensing, litigation, enforcement, and IP agreements through technical analysis.
- Advise teams on patent, trade secret, and trademark strategies; deliver IP awareness training.
