Job summary

Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP seeks mid–level to senior litigation associates with 4–6 years of patent litigation experience, including IPR proceedings before the PTAB, in our Washington, DC office. A JD from an ABA-accredited law school and an active license to practice are required, with a Bachelor’s in CS/CE/EE or related field.

Exceptional writing skills are essential. Applicants should have USPTO registration preferred.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of patent litigation experience.
• IPR proceedings before the PTAB experience preferred.
• JD from ABA-accredited law school and licensed to practice law.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Handle patent litigation matters before PTAB and in other forums.
• Assist in all phases of litigation and IPR proceedings, including drafting and filings.
• Collaborate with partners on case strategy and client communication.
