Job summary

Incedo is seeking an IoT Test Engineer in the United States to develop and execute test plans for Linux-based IoT products. You will validate protocols like MQTT, TCP/IP, Zigbee, and BLE, and perform end‑to‑end validation across devices, gateway, cloud, and mobile apps.

The role requires hands-on Python scripting, experience with test automation tools such as Katalon, and strong networking knowledge. You will collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and ensure robust security and OTA

Qualifications

Experience testing Linux-based IoT products.
Strong Python scripting for test automation.
Knowledge of networking protocols (MQTT/TCP/IP/Zigbee).
Experience with Wireshark or packet analysis tools.
Familiarity with CI/CD and test management tools.

Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, cases, and reports for Linux and IoT products.
Perform functional, integration, regression, interoperability, and system-level testing.
Validate communication protocols (MQTT, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, Zigbee, Matter, Thread, BLE, Wi‑Fi).
Write Python scripts and use Katalon or similar tools for automation.
Analyze network traffic and perform root cause analysis with dev teams.
