Job summary

Allegion is seeking a senior cybersecurity professional to serve as the security focal point for enterprise product development, firmware, and IoT initiatives. You will guide secure design, enforce security requirements, and mentor teams through risk mitigations across the lifecycle.

The role requires deep cybersecurity expertise, strong communication across diverse stakeholders, and the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable guidance for software, hardware, and cloud teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated focus on application security/cybersecurity.
• Experience with Internet of Things devices and secure development practices.
• Ability to translate security requirements into practical guidance for teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as security point of contact across enterprise teams for product development and data privacy.
• Assist in security architecture design of firmware ensuring secure communication, auth, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities and guide teams on risk mitigations across lifecycle stages.
• Possibly perform penetration testing and ethical hacking on Allegion products.
• Travel ~15% as needed.
