Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Senior Automation & Observability Engineer to remotely support United States enterprise infrastructure and IoT platforms with a focus on monitoring, telemetry, and automation. This role emphasizes IBM Instana, Grafana, Prometheus, and ELT integration to ensure high availability and proactive incident response.

You will collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, and Service Delivery teams; implement SLO/SLA monitoring; and drive automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash,

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise monitoring/observability platforms and ELT telemetry.
• Hands-on with Grafana, Instana, Prometheus, Telegraf, and InfluxDB required.
• Proficient scripting and automation skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise monitoring and observability solutions.
• Develop dashboards, alerts, and visualizations with Grafana; manage data collection.
• Monitor Linux/Windows, VMware, Citrix, middleware, and IoT services for health.
• Lead RCA investigations, incident management, and operational health monitoring.
• Automate tasks and integrate monitoring with automation frameworks.
• Support FOAK/ELT onboarding and telemetry pipeline integrity.
