Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced iOS architect to lead the development of a high-performance consumer fintech app. You will own architecture decisions and drive scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

You will craft secure experiences for authentication, payments, and wallets, using Swift and SwiftUI, with UIKit where needed, and collaborate with backend, product, and design teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience building and shipping consumer-facing iOS applications.
• Experience in fintech, banking, payments, investing, digital wallets, cryptocurrency, or stablecoins.
• Strong expertise in native iOS development with Swift.
• Experience owning or leading the architecture of production iOS applications.
• Experience building products from the ground up, preferably in a startup or small, high-autonomy engineering team.
• Strong understanding of scalable and high-performance mobile architectures.
• Production experience with SwiftUI.
• Strong understanding of modern Swift concurrency and asynchronous programming.
• Excellent understanding of APIs, networking, state management, persistence, and mobile system design.
• Strong engineering judgment and ability to explain technical approaches.
• Product mindset focused on user experience.
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.

Responsibilities
