Job summary

Capgemini in Irving, TX is seeking an experienced iOS Developer with 3+ years in building scalable mobile apps for Apple platforms. Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI, REST APIs, and modern concurrency is required.

You will design, implement, test, and maintain iOS solutions, collaborate with product and backend teams, and contribute to architecture using MVVM or VIPER. The role includes deployment support and ongoing app optimization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of iOS development experience.
• Proficient in Swift and SwiftUI.
• Experience delivering iOS apps through full SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Build reusable, scalable mobile solutions following best practices.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and work with OpenAPI Specification (OAS).
• Implement modern concurrency patterns using Async/Await, Combine, and multithreading concepts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, and QA teams.
• Contribute to application architecture and design using patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, VIPER, and similar frameworks.
• Develop and maintain reusable iOS frameworks/libraries and manage dependencies using Swift Package Manager (SPM).
• Optimize applications for performance, memory utilization, responsiveness, and security.
• Participate in code reviews, pull request reviews, pair programming sessions, and technical discussions.
• Implement automated build and deployment processes using tools such as Jenkins and the Xcode toolchain.
• Support application releases, deployment, and maintenance on the Apple App Store.
