Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC seeks an experienced iOS developer to design, develop, and troubleshoot mobile solutions in a fast-paced environment. You will translate requirements into scalable options, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive secure, high-quality production code through the SDLC.

You will adapt Agile practices, stay current with mobile technologies, and work with support teams to meet SLAs while contributing to API design and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in app development in a technology environment.
• Native iOS development with hands-on Swift and Xcode.
• Proficient with MVC/MVVM/MVP design patterns; Singleton and Clean Architecture.
• Solid experience with SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Must have MVVM design pattern experience.
• Experience securing apps via device registration, biometrics and keychain.
• Experience with mobile encryption and data protection; addressing vulnerabilities.
• Familiar with test driven development.
• Strong benchmarking and optimization skills.
• Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Translates requirements to solution options and recommendations.
• Collaborates with product managers, architects and engineers.
• Oversees backlog through the Design phase of SDLC.
• Drives solution designs with annotations, options, and justifications.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews others' code.
• Ensures commitments meet client expectations with quality and cost controls.
• Adapts Agile methods and collaborates with mobile vendors on implementation.
• Keeps up to date on new technologies and industry standards.
• Works with application support and vendors to meet SLAs.
• Troubleshoots production and non-production issues.
• Designs API specs with server engineers.
• Proposes process improvements to enhance the engineering team.
