Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a Mobile Engineer III, iOS in Seattle to own the Checkout iOS experience. You will design, build, and maintain fast, scalable native apps, ensuring security and reliability under heavy demand.

You’ll translate product requirements into robust architectures and collaborate across backend, product, design, and quality teams. You’ll apply strong iOS fundamentals, modern frameworks, and observability practices while tackling complex scale challenges and contributing to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 5 years of equivalent practical experience.
Experience shipping native iOS apps from design through production.
Strong iOS architecture, data modeling, and API integration.
Proficiency with iOS tools, frameworks, testing and observability.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain native iOS apps that are secure, performant, and resilient.
Translate requirements into technical designs (LLD, API design, data models).
Collaborate with backend, product, design, and QA to deliver end-to-end journeys.
Write clean, testable code; contribute to testing, monitoring, and reviews.
Diagnose production issues and improve reliability and performance.
Safely integrate AI/ML-enabled capabilities while upholding privacy and security.
