Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a senior iOS software engineer to contribute to the Ford App, an end-to-end customer-facing mobile experience used by millions. You will work with product owners, engineers and designers to deliver shippable software frequently.

Responsibilities include developing iOS features from concept to production, reviewing designs, evaluating new tech, and documenting software; strong collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in native iOS Application Development.
• 5+ years experience in Swift and the iOS app development ecosystem.
• 3+ years mobile frontend application architecture, including modular design, state management and navigation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop iOS app software from conception to production for millions of drivers and vehicles.
• Review, evaluate and provide feedback on product designs and architectures with a software engineering focus.
• Evaluate and recommend new and emerging products and technologies.
• Write and contribute to high-quality documentation for software engineers.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and other technical experts.
