Job summary

CBC/Radio-Canada seeks an iOS Senior Developer for the OTT team (French services). The role focuses on front-end development for CBC Gem and ICI Tou.TV, with telework options and a 12-month contract.

You will collaborate with product owners, architects and managers to deliver high-performance mobile apps in a multilingual environment. Candidates should be proficient in Xcode, Swift, and modern iOS patterns, with experience shipping apps to the App Store and working in Agile Scrum teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level or higher; 3+ years of software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and/or modify reusable components for CBC/Radio-Canada’s digital platforms; such as the audio/video player.
• Ensure compliance with standards and control the quality of the product throughout the project’s execution.
• Stay informed of new trends in the various fields of digital development.
• Proactively propose solutions to challenges encountered.
• Participate in Agile Scrum activities to review ongoing projects and measure results.
• Participate in development of user stories for our products.
• Ensure performance of applications under high loads.
• Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and deployments.
• Participate in code reviews and solution deployments.
