Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional iOS application development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and a solid understanding of the iOS SDK and Apple development ecosystem.
• Experience building and maintaining production iOS applications.
• Familiarity with modern iOS development frameworks, including SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Understanding of iOS application architecture, design patterns, memory management, and application lifecycle.
• Experience with asynchronous programming, including Swift Concurrency async/await and/or Combine.
• Familiarity with data persistence technologies such as Core Data, SwiftData, or other local storage solutions.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and working with backend services.
• Understanding of mobile application testing, debugging, performance optimization, and crash analysis.
• Experience with Git, code reviews, and collaborative software development workflows.
• Experience with App Store release processes and application lifecycle management.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and take ownership of technical deliverables.
• Extensive experience with SwiftUI and modern declarative UI development.
• Familiarity with XCTest, XCUITest, or other iOS testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of mobile application security, authentication, encryption, and secure data storage.
• Experience with Apple's Keychain, Secure Enclave, or other platform security capabilities.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated build and release processes.
• Experience with performance monitoring, crash reporting, and application analytics.
• Knowledge of dependency management tools such as Swift Package Manager or CocoaPods.
• Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to technical standards and architectural decisions.
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional product teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality iOS applications for iPhone and other Apple devices.
• Build intuitive, responsive user interfaces using SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Contribute to application architecture, technical design decisions, and long-term platform strategy.
• Write clean, maintainable, efficient code following established engineering standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure application performance, reliability, security, and scalability.
• Implement automated testing, debugging, and monitoring to maintain application quality.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver features that meet business and user needs.
• Integrate REST APIs and backend services into mobile applications.
• Identify technical challenges and recommend practical solutions that balance quality, maintainability, and delivery timelines.
• Contribute to build, deployment, and release processes, including App Store submissions.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge to support the growth of the engineering team.
