Job summary

Sorenson Communications, LLC is seeking an experienced iOS engineer to design, implement and test high-performance communication apps for iOS. You will write clean, maintainable code, develop GUI components, and ensure adherence to platform standards while integrating protocols like JSON, XML, HTTP, and REST.

You will participate in agile processes, drive architecture decisions, and contribute to the enterprise app ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of native mobile and iOS development experience.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, structures and patterns.
• Proficient in C and C++.
• Excellent OO design and analysis skills.
• Able to communicate in English and/or ASL.
• BS CS or equivalent; multi-threaded app experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design, implementation and testing of high-performance iOS apps.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code and GUI components.
• Develop features per platform standards and protocols (JSON, XML, HTTP, REST).
• Propose new technologies and drive architecture and services.
• Work in agile teams with automated testing and code reviews.
