Job summary

A major transportation network in North America is looking for a Senior Software Engineer specializing in iOS. The role involves leading requirements management, software design, and engineering for mobile applications, particularly focusing on Bluetooth printing and secure field apps. Candidates must have a solid background in both Swift and Objective-C, along with experience in developing high-performance UX. This is a daytime position with some telework flexibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in software development.
• Requires at least one certification in the current platform/domain/technical skill.
• Experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Leads requirements management and software design.
• Collaborates across parties involved in product and service design.
• Develops system testing criteria related to functional and non-functional requirements.

Skills

Expert in Swift

Expert in Objective-C

Hands-on experience with camera frameworks

Knowledge of mobile app hardening

Experience with Bluetooth/BLE printers

Proficient in structured testing

Skilled in creating responsive UI/UX

Strong experience with REST/GraphQL APIs
