Job summary

RGA is modernizing its investment technologies, and the Senior Software Engineering Architect will own end-to-end solution architecture across front-, middle-, and back-office teams’ applications, services, and data.

You will define reference architecture, drive complex prototyping, and ensure delivery quality across multiple agile teams while aligning with enterprise architecture, security, and governance standards.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software engineering with senior architect experience

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture across investment tech estate including apps, services, and data
• Define and enforce reference architecture across tiers and data flows
• Engage with investment engineering teams from UI to pipeline and set engineering bar for testing and CI/CD
• Architect around vendor estate (PM, accounting, data providers) with build-vs-buy decisions
• Design modern AWS cloud stack (serverless, containers) and Snowflake data platform
• Produce SOX ITGC and SOC 1/2 evidence by design with data lineage and audit controls
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with EA, security, data governance, investment ops
• Contribute to PI planning and manage technical debt within agile product delivery
