Job summary

Stratos Private Wealth is seeking a Senior Market & Portfolio Strategist to lead investment strategy, portfolio construction, and ongoing positioning for high-net-worth clients. This individual will oversee model portfolios, chair the Investment Committee, manage research across traditional and alternative investments, and serve as the primary investment resource for our advisors.

The ideal candidate will combine sound investment judgment with exceptional communication and follow-through.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or related field.
• Series 65 and eligibility for IAR registration.
• Significant portfolio management or investment research experience.
• Experience guiding asset allocation across asset classes.
• Strong knowledge of portfolio construction, capital markets, and risk analysis.
• Experience evaluating alternative investments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present to advisors and executives.
• Demonstrated leadership and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, governance, and evolution of model portfolios and investment strategies.
• Recommend strategic and tactical asset allocation changes across equities, fixed income, cash, and alternatives.
• Evaluate market conditions and translate research into timely decisions.
• Chair the Investment Committee and ensure accountability.
• Partner with leadership on investment direction and advisor needs.
• Provide timely talking points and client communications during volatility.
• Lead monthly advisor updates and quarterly market webinars.
• Develop training resources for advisors on portfolio positioning.
