Job summary

Volga Partners seeks an experienced Senior Investment Research & Capital Markets SME to support the evaluation and improvement of AI-driven financial analyses. This independent contractor role focuses on assessing technical accuracy, identifying errors, and refining prompts and datasets for robust LLM evaluation.

You will apply real-world finance expertise in equity, fixed income, and capital markets to enhance AI model performance within a project-based, remote environment.

Qualifications

• Significant practical experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or Transaction Advisory.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. financial markets and corporate finance principles.
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation capabilities.
• Excellent written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated financial analyses for technical accuracy and quality of reasoning.
• Identify factual inaccuracies, unsupported assumptions, and calculation errors.
• Review financial models, valuation methodologies, and investment analyses produced by AI.
• Create, review, and refine finance-related prompts and evaluation datasets.
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI model performance.
• Collaborate with project managers, QA teams, and researchers to improve methods.
• Maintain productivity and quality while working remotely.
