Job summary

Fortitude Reinsurance Company Ltd. (Fortitude Re) seeks an AVP, Investment Operations to strengthen data integrity and controls across the investment lifecycle.

The role partners with investment teams, fund admins, accounting, and external counterparties to ensure accurate data, timely settlements, and scalable processes. The role is remote, with a focus on onboarding deals, onboarding asset managers, and maintaining KPI-driven reporting to support growth and risk management in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 7+ years in investment operations or asset management.
• Strong knowledge of fixed income securities.
• Experience with private credit, private equity, or real assets.
• Exposure to insurance or reinsurance investment portfolios preferred.
• Excellent communication and organization; able to manage multiple priorities.
• Highly analytical with strong problem-solving and judgment.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new reinsurance deals into Investments Ops infrastructure.
• Onboard asset managers and integrate onto Fortitude-Re platform.
• Support onboarding and due diligence of new investment vehicles and managers.
• Coordinate onboarding of capital calls and distributions with fund admins.
• Own post-trade operations and settlement workflow with custodians and counterparties.
• Develop dashboards and KPI reporting with Data team.
• Mentor junior analysts and share best practices.
