Job summary

Dimensional is seeking an Analyst/Associate in Austin, TX to support the Investment Engineering and Data Solutions teams by ensuring high-quality investment data used across internal systems.

The role focuses on analyzing data quality of security references, prices, ratings, and related data, building data pipelines, and collaborating with Portfolio Management, Trading, and Compliance to meet deadlines and deliver value to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, CS, Engineering, or related field; master's preferred.
• 3–5+ years with large investment datasets, quantitative analysis, SQL/Python.
• Experience with financial data sets and vendor platforms (Bloomberg, Factset, Refinitiv, Morningstar) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tools and systems are built with appropriate business logic.
• Compile, cleanse, and manage large data sets from multiple sources.
• Research and evaluate vendor data quality and consumption patterns.
• Conduct data analysis using SQL Server, Snowflake, and other DB tech.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Management, Trading, Compliance on analyses.
• Design, build, and test data pipelines with data engineers.
• Shape data architecture for internal distribution of investment data.
• Drive efficiency through automation and process design.
• Mentor junior analysts and share knowledge across the team.
