Job summary

Generational Group is seeking a highly motivated Senior Investment Analyst to join our growing Family Office investment team in Richardson, TX. You will evaluate opportunities and support deployment and management of significant capital across public and private markets.

The ideal candidate has approximately ten years of investment experience, strong modeling skills, and experience in private equity or direct investments.

Qualifications

• Approximately five years of relevant investment experience in private equity, investment banking, family office investing, institutional asset management, private credit, or similar analytical role.
• CFA designation strongly preferred; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
• Meaningful experience evaluating private equity, direct investments, co-investments, or other alt investments.
• Excellent financial modeling skills and advanced proficiency with Excel.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation, capital structures, and investment returns.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate investments across public and private markets, incl. private equity, direct investments, co-investments, private credit, real estate, and other alternatives.
• Build detailed financial models, valuation analyses, return models, sensitivity analyses, and exit scenarios.
• Prepare investment committee materials with clear theses, risks, and recommendations.
• Participate in due diligence calls with sponsors, fund managers, and executives.
• Monitor portfolio exposures and liquidity post-investment.
• Develop tools to monitor performance, cash flows, and risk across client portfolios.
