Job summary

NFP, an Aon company, seeks a Senior Investment Analyst in Charlotte, NC. This salaried role is a key member of the investment team, focused on investment analysis and presenting recommendations to clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the retirement plan industry, with a focus on investment analysis (10+ years preferred).
• Proficient knowledge of asset allocation, portfolio construction, performance attribution, risk analysis, capital markets.
• Experience evaluating fund managers and with mutual funds, CITs, SMAs, etc.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
• Strong client service orientation and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze investment managers and vehicles across asset classes.
• Prepare investment commentary for committees and client reviews.
• Prepare recommendations including fund additions, removals, watch status, and replacements.
• Present investment analysis to clients’ investment committees.
• Respond to client questions on performance, philosophy, markets, and strategy.
• Coordinate due diligence with fund company contacts and meetings.
• Evaluate target date fund providers and suitability for clients.
• Support RFPs, finalist presentations, and new business opportunities.
• Contribute to investment research process and tools.
