Job summary

Civicworks is seeking a POST/DPAC Investigator III to lead investigations of alleged or probable violations and compliance issues within law enforcement agencies. You will identify, obtain, verify, and analyze evidence, conduct interviews, and prepare investigative reports for review by boards and commissions.

The role may involve surveillance, undercover operations, and on-site inspections as assigned, with opportunities to testify when required.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in planning, developing, coordinating, and implementing investigations.
• Two years' experience conducting investigations including interviews, evidence gathering, and documenting findings.
• Two years' experience collecting, evaluating and analyzing information on alleged violations of state or federal laws.
• One year of experience in civil, criminal or administrative proceedings including testimony and case management.
• Satisfactory fingerprint-based background check administered by Delaware State Police.
