Qualifications

• Requires four-year college degree, preferably in political science, public administration, business/finance, or related field; and two years of professional investigative experience or related field.

Responsabilités

• Conducts complex/statewide investigations of employees suspected of misconduct.
• Prepares detailed investigative reports and forwards to prosecuting agencies or management.
• Audits financial and management systems to detect fraud and improve internal controls.
• Coordinates agency personnel during investigations and handles inquiries.
• May testify in court or before administrative tribunals as required by statutes.
• Investigates and reports ethics violations within the Secretary of State's office.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
