The State of Washington, Office of the Attorney General, is recruiting for a permanent Senior Investigator/Analyst in the Medicaid Fraud & Abuse Division in Olympia. The successful candidate will investigate complex healthcare fraud, coordinate with federal and state agencies, and lead intake duties while supporting a diverse, professional team.

Salary ranges from $82,440 to $110,952 annually, with base pay reflecting internal equity and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and ten years of investigation experience in civil or criminal cases.
• Alternatively, five years as an AGO Investigator/Analyst with equivalent qualifications.
• Ability to independently plan and conduct investigations and coordinate multi-agency efforts.

Responsibilities

• Investigate highly complex civil and criminal healthcare fraud matters.
• Coordinate multi-jurisdictional investigations and liaise with partner agencies.
• Lead intake functions and develop investigative plans for assigned cases.
• Provide guidance as a subject matter expert on Medicaid fraud investigations.
