Job summary

Generac Power Systems, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist I–III to support manufacturing operations. You will learn to drive power equipment, locate missing inventory, and correct system errors using SAP and barcode/RF tools.

The role includes daily monitoring, audits, and potential small-team leadership, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. The position reports to Production or Distribution Supervisors and requires SAP proficiency, strong organization, and independent work

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
2 years of experience in a manufacturing or comparable environment with inventory control duties.
Knowledge of cycle count methodology and SAP usage.
Ability to operate equipment safely and independently.
Good problem solving, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Learn to operate and become proficient in driving power equipment.
Look up products in the warehouse and identify missing inventory.
Research where missing inventory could be located and correct system errors.
Perform dynamic cycle counts and inventory adjustments.
Use a barcode scanner, computer, and RF tool to enter items into inventory database.
ICS II: monitor inventory changes daily using the system.
ICS II/III: audit warehouse locations and correct records; lead small projects.
Set up and control master data in SAP; plan daily work and communicate with the team.
