Job summary

Providence Swedish Edmonds is seeking a trained cardiovascular technologist to assist Interventional Radiology, Cardiology, and Vascular Surgery teams in a busy hospital setting.

You will perform and assist with percutaneous diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensure high-quality imaging, monitor patient condition, and participate in aseptic practice across multiple environments. On-call shifts with a 30-minute response are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a two-year invasive cardiovascular program or successful completion of a formal Radiologic Technologist program.
• Upon hire: Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification --or-- Washington Radiologic Technologist --or-- National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International --or-- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
• 1 year of technologist in a Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology Lab.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Interventional Radiologist, Cardiologists, and Vascular Surgeons with a variety of procedures including percutaneous diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures, biopsies, drain placements, implants and US guided procedures.
• Obtain optimal imaging in angiographic imaging and portable ultrasound in aseptic and sterile environments.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes; be available for on-call shifts with 30 minutes response time.
