Job summary

Pathfynder by A-LIGN is seeking an experienced Internal Penetration Tester to conduct internal network and cloud-based SaaS assessments. You will identify real risks, manually exploit vulnerabilities, and deliver remediation guidance to clients in a fast-paced environment.

You will report to the Director, Internal Offensive Operations and collaborate with the offensive security team to improve delivery and mentorship across engagements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on offensive security experience with internal/network testing.
• Experience exploiting in enterprise environments and cloud SaaS contexts.
• Knowledge of EDR bypass, lateral movement, and privilege escalation techniques.
• Red team or purple team testing is preferred; consulting experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Execute internal network and cloud-based SaaS penetration testing engagements.
• Identify and exploit vulnerabilities and provide remediation guidance.
• Deliver client-ready reports with evidence and risk context.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders and maintain project timelines.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to team capability development.
