Job summary

JBT Marel Corporation in Chicago is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to plan, coordinate and complete internal audits, including Sarbanes-Oxley 404 requirements, reporting to the Internal Audit Manager.

The role emphasizes risk assessment, financial and IT audits, and leading audit engagements. Travel up to 20% of the time is expected; collaboration with management is key to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Internal auditing experience in manufacturing.
• CPA certification.
• 3+ years of accounting/auditing experience; knowledge of GAAP.
• Oversee and motivate engagement team members and engage with management.
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and try new ideas/methodologies.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate risk areas and provide input on the Audit Plan.
• Lead audit procedures, identify issues, develop criteria and analyze evidence.
• Complete financial, Sarbanes-Oxley and IT-based audit engagements.
• Lead effort to maintain internal audit programs and develop new audit programs.
• Provide training and guidance to Internal Audit seniors and staff.
