Job summary

Deckers Brands seeks an experienced Sr. Internal Auditor to support the Internal Audit function by executing audit procedures, evaluating controls, and identifying risks across the organization. Domestic travel up to 20% may be required.

The role emphasizes teamwork and integrity in a diverse, inclusive environment. You will conduct tests, document results, and communicate findings while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and timeliness. This position reports to the Sr.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3+ years of internal audit experience in a large multinational public company.
• Professional certification (AICPA/IIA) or relevant audit qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform operational, financial, and compliance audit procedures for assigned scope areas.
• Conduct data analysis to support audit testing and identify trends, anomalies, or potential control concerns.
• Identify control deficiencies, process improvements, and compliance gaps based on audit testing results.
• Participate in walkthrough meetings to gain understanding of processes, risks, and controls.
• Document process flows, control activities, and identified risks within assigned audit areas.
• Prepare complete, accurate, and timely audit workpapers per standards.
• Validate completeness and accuracy of audit observations with management.
• Draft clear findings with evidence and data analysis.
• Support annual risk assessment activities, special projects, and initiatives.
• Contribute to enhancement of audit methodologies, templates, and best practices.
• Maintain professional knowledge through training, certifications, and research.
