Job summary

Baptist Health System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor for the Downtown Southbank location in Jacksonville. This full-time daytime role supports the Internal Audit Team by conducting risk-based financial, operational, and compliance audits to strengthen organizational controls.

You will lead risk assessments, help develop the annual audit plan, perform audits, draft reports, and collaborate with management on corrective actions while mentoring staff auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1–2 years project management experience.
• 5 years accounting experience.
• 5 years auditing experience.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Leadership experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist in risk assessments to develop the annual audit plan.
• Plan and conduct financial, operational and compliance audits; identify control gaps.
• Write concise audit reports and verify action plans with management.
• Train and oversee staff auditors where applicable.
