Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or related field or equivalent education and related training or experience.
• 4–6 years of banking, auditing or other relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of audit principles, practices, and methodologies including risk assessment and documentation.
• Good decision-making and analytical facilitation skills.
• Ability to grasp complex information and identify root causes.
• Ability to propose solutions based on analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and audit documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Experience working with audit teams and guiding junior staff.
• Professional certification is preferred or candidate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and lead client interviews and document results with narratives and flowcharts.
• Analyze process documentation to evaluate control design and efficiency.
• Design and execute testing strategy using data analytics.
• Identify internal control weaknesses, risks and root causes.
• Guide junior team members to achieve goals and objectives.
• Present audit findings to management and the Engagement Manager.
• Develop advanced audit skills and risk assessment capabilities.
• Deepen knowledge of Truist operations, policies and applicable banking regulations.
• Create work papers in line with internal procedures.
• Work independently to complete tasks on time and within deadlines.
• Receive feedback and apply lessons to future assignments.
